Penguins penguins everywhere!

2k has been studying penguins; each student chose a penguin to research and write a report on, then illustrate their report. After completing the science unit (wherein the students learned about different penguins and their habitats) the class created life size penguins for a comparison to a second grader, and various species of penguins.

Rainy day recess

As an advocate of healthy bodies, we do not play board games during rainy day recess, we MOVE! Running, dancing, yoga you name we do it! It's a great way to keep our hearts healthy and get some energy out. I use a great site called "GoNoodle" the kids love it and it has many different kid friendly activities for us to choose from.
