Update on Penguin Research

Penguin Reports!  Penguin Reports!  The students have begun writing their Penguin Reports and some have even completed them all together!  We have begun drawing out actual real life size of some of our favorite penguins in comparison to student's size.

President's Day

After reading some books on various presidents of the United States, the students created "lap books" and glued them to their Daily 5 Notebooks.

Penguins, Penguins everywhere!

The penguin research has begun!  Everyone is reading various nonfiction books about different penguins, writing down interesting facts learned....researching!  We were inspired to learn more about these animals after learning about the continent of Antarctica in a book Ann and Liv Cross Antarctica, the true story of two women explorers.  So, stay tuned for penguin reports!
