Daily 5 benefits

Recently one of our "Word Work" activities (graph a word, where they roll a dice, then write a word with that many letters) transformed into a full on Math activity. The boys used the data from "Graph a Word" to create a bar graph.....I love it when learning happens ALL over the classroom, in many different ways, on many different levels.#Daily5 benefits 

Rainy day recess fun

During rainy days, we like to get up and move with GoNoodle.com a health physical fitness site for kids. We participate in various activities-yoga, Zumba, dance, running,etc. We jump for joy when it's a rainy day
