2k and 2D Field
Trip
Monday,
April 2nd 2K and 2D will be taking a Barrier Island EcoTour. The bus will leave @ 9:00am sharp. We will have the opportunity to learn about
organisms, habitats, communities, and ecosystems as we explore the tidal creeks
of the salt marsh on the way to Capers Island.
We will have a hotdog/hamburger lunch with water, chips and a cookie
(there is no need to bring any extra.)
You may bring a bottle of water if you wish.
The
following are some important guidelines:

Wear PE uniforms.
*If chance of rain bring rain coats or umbrellas
·
Wear tennis shoes
that you don’t mind getting a little wet or sandy (no flip flops or crocs).

Apply sunscreen
BEFORE arriving at school
·
Remember that the
temperature is usually cooler on the water, you may want to bring your BSS
sweatshirt
·
If you wish to
bring a disposable camera-LABEL IT WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME, your child will be
responsible for it.
