Great Friday

Wow!  What a great day!  We finished our map of ourselves, picture and writing!  This group is certainly talented in the writing field.  I am really looking forward to some great projects with them.

Weekend Work

If your child came home with some "weekend" homework-it was classwork that he/she did not finish.  Even though everyone was really starting to get into the routine last week, there were still a handful that needed to take unfinished work home for homework.  Please know that this is review work and gone over throughout the week.  Students are given time at the end of the day on Fridays to meet with me and go over their work, they also will have an opportunity during our small group meetings as well.  After the shock of "I have homework this weekend" I think those who had to take work home will definitely be back on track this coming week, and have a better understanding of what their responsibilities in the classroom are.
