March Happenings

Our class book will be sent to the publishers no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 9TH!  Be sure to turn in your slip with payment by then-you cannot order after the book has been published (this is not my rule but the publisher's)  Be on the look out for an envelope in your child's ROYAL!

Lent

Ash Wednesday & Lent

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, which means we will be going to church tomorrow rather than Thursday.  Mass is at the regular time (8:45) and parents are welcomed to join us.  If you need more info on Lent please see the "lent" link on the sidebar.  :)  Happy FAT TUESDAY!!!!!

Muggie Maggie Book Reports

Now that we're finished with our book, everyone is completing some form of a reading response.  Every drew a "book report task card" from our "Book Report" bag they were to keep THAT task card and complete the task by Thursday.  Part of their grade is to keep up with the task card as well, and return that with their completed task.  :)  I was so impressed by some who got super easy ones (thought I had grabbed those all out) and wanted to put the card back-me too!  BUT.....I said they had to keep the task they drew, so with keeping with my word, those that got easy ones have it easy :)

February Fun!

We have FINALLY completed our Informational reports, and those that want to share with the class will be doing so this week.  Lots of fun Valentine's activities are planned, one of which is poetry writing :)  Maybe we'll get a chance to post some on our website...stay tuned!
